Santa Barbara County Animal Services is seeking people willing to foster birds and dogs after the agency recently took possession of 300 birds and 21 dogs in an operation with the Santa Maria Police Department.
Foster homes are needed for pigeons, chickens, cockatiels and parakeets, as well as dogs already in the county’s three shelters.
People interested in fostering should visit the SBC Animal Services website.
