Students in both Cuesta and Allan Hancock Colleges are kicking off the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, August 17th.
Cuesta College is launching a new 16-week semester format, along with block scheduling. Campus officials say there was also a nearly 4% increase in enrollment compared to Fall of 2025.
Meanwhile, Allan Hancock College will be welcoming students with booth displays from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Students will be able to stop by the booths to ask questions, get help finding classes, and get free snacks and coffee.
Cal Poly students are also getting ready for the new school year. Classes for the Mustangs begin on Monday, August 24th.
