Multiple advocacy groups collaborated to put on several rallies across the Central Coast for May Day. The events brought out demonstrators advocating against immigrant enforcement policies. They also spoke out for higher wages as energy costs rise due to the war with Iran.
One rally was held at Devual Park in San Luis Obispo, which featured speakers, a march, and an intersection protest.
Aside from the rally, the event had a food donation drop-off.
