UPDATE (5:25 p.m.) – The Paso Robles Police Department is asking anyone with information about Thursday morning’s crash to contact the department’s Traffic Division at (805) 237-6464.
Police say three vehicles were involved in the crash, and the occupants of one of the vehicles had to be extricated by firefighters. They were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

UPDATE (8:30 a.m.) – All lanes have reopened as of 8:30 a.m., although traffic may still be moving slowly through the area, according to Caltrans.

(7:07 a.m.) – A crash on State Route 46 has prompted closures on all eastbound lanes in Paso Robles by Union Road.
Around 5:20 a.m., the Paso Robles Police Department responded to a collision involving a semi-truck and a sedan. A nearby light pole was damaged in the crash, exposing wires; crews with the Department of Transportation have also been called to the scene to assess.
Now, the eastbound lanes are closed for at least the next two hours. The estimated reopening time may change.
