The Sheriff’s Advisory Foundation hosted its annual Family Day at the Madonna Meadows on Saturday.
The free event featured demonstrations from the search and rescue team and the Sheriff’s posse.
Families also got to check out emergency helicopters and meet K9 officers.
Sheriff’s officials say the event was meant to help families learn how the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office keeps the community safe.
The event featured food, free T-shirts, and even a bike raffle for kids.
