Runners hit the trails in Pismo Beach on Sunday. Ryan’s Ranch Run took place at Thousand Hills Ranch, featuring a 5K, 10K, and kids’ mile run.
Organizers say participants raised money for the Central Coast Athletics Foundation and 17 Strong. 17 Strong provides victory trips to young adults battling life-threatening illnesses.
The organization was founded in honor of Ryan Teixeira. After crossing the finish line, racers celebrated with live music and food at a post-race festival.
