UPDATE (Monday 8:10 a.m.)- As of 7:30 a.m. on Monday, the Brava Fire is 100% contained, according to Watch Duty.
UPDATE (8:45 p.m.)- According to Watch Duty, the fire was updated to 9.5 acres burned total, rather than 25 acres as previously reported. Additionally, the Brava Fire is now 90% contained.
UPDATE (4:10 p.m.)- KSBY reached out to the Pismo Beach Police Department and CAL Fire. According to a CAL Fire official, a suspect was taken into custody in connection with the fire. They also confirmed the cause of the fire is under investigation.

UPDATE (3:29 p.m.)- Officials say forward progress has stopped for the Brava Fire and the blaze is now 35% contained. Officials with the City of Pismo Beach say there is no active threat to any structures or homes in the area.
UPDATE (3:15 p.m.)- The fire is now 25-30 acres in size and is 30% contained.
UPDATE (2:08 p.m.)- Officials say the Brava Fire has burned 20 acres with a slow to moderate rate of spread.
UPDATE (1:49 p.m.)- The fire is now 3-4 acres in size. Two additional air tankers and 2 handcrews were requested.
ORIGINAL STORY: Fire crews are currently responding to a report of the Brava Fire near the 2100 Block of Costa Brava in Pismo Beach.
Officials say the fire has burned a quarter of an acre and has a slow rate of spread, moving uphill.
1 Air Attack, 2 Airtankers, and 3 additional Type 3 Engines have been requested to assist with containment.
