The South County Historical Society celebrated its 50th anniversary on Saturday. The group held a party during the afternoon at Heritage Square Park in Arroyo Grande.
The party featured guest speakers, historical displays, and food and drinks.
Jim Gregory, the President of the South County Historical Society, shared, “What I’m really happy to see is a lot of little kids. So that means being hopeful about the future of Arroyo Grande’s history. Which really needs to be continued to the next generation.”
The event also had live music performed by Crossroads.
