Officials now say the crash turned deadly, involving a big rig and a Nissan Altima.
They say around 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the Nissan crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and crashed head-on into the big rig.
Authorities are asking drivers to use alternative routes until lanes can be reopened.
