Allegiant Air is marking 20 years of service in the Santa Maria area. The Santa Maria Public Airport District celebrated the milestone on Sunday with a small event at the airport terminal, including a special water cannon salute for the departing flight. Allegiant currently offers flights between Santa Maria and Las Vegas several times a week.
